## How It Works



This app functions as a custom file format processor. When installed to a Crowdin project, CSV files matching the Epic achievements format will be processed automatically.





### Step 1: Prepare Your CSV



Export your achievements CSV from Epic Games Developer Portal.



### Step 2: Configure Your Crowdin Project



**Important:** The source language of your Crowdin project must exactly match the source language in your CSV file. For example, if your CSV uses `en-US` as the source, set your Crowdin project source language to "English, United States" — not just "English".



### Step 3: Upload and Translate



Upload the CSV file to the Sources section. The app extracts all translatable content:



- **Locked Title** — Achievement title shown before unlocking

- **Locked Description** — Description shown before unlocking

- **Unlocked Title** — Achievement title shown after unlocking

- **Unlocked Description** — Description shown after unlocking

- **Flavor Text** — Optional additional context (if present)



### Step 4: Export Translations



Download the translated file. The export maintains the original CSV structure with all your translations included.



## WYSIWYG Preview



The app provides a visual preview that renders achievements as they appear in the Epic Games Store. Linguists can see both locked and unlocked states side-by-side, making it easy to ensure translations work well in context.

## Language Mapping



The app automatically maps between Crowdin language codes and Epic Games locale codes. Supported languages include all Epic-supported locales.



If your Crowdin project includes target languages not present in the original CSV, they will be added to the export automatically.
