## Maximum Characters Check

The Maximum Characters Check ensures that your translated text does not exceed a defined maximum character count.

### Features
- **Character Count Calculation**: Counts the number of characters in the translated text.
- **Threshold Enforcement**: Compares the character count to a predefined maximum threshold and flags translations that exceed this limit.

Note: While Crowdin has a native max.length feature, it requires setting a maximum length for every segment. This QA check allows you to enforce a maximum length for the entire project, making it more convenient to manage character limits (can be useful for subtitle translation projects).

### Configuration
The QA check should be configured before use. The configuration is done directly in the code by setting the `maxChars` variable to the desired maximum character count.
