Overview

The Crowdin ABBYY Cloud OCR integration allows users to process PDFs and images through OCR directly within their Crowdin projects. This app facilitates the conversion of scanned documents and images into editable and translatable formats, streamlining the localization process.

Installation and Project Selection

When installing the ABBYY Cloud OCR app, it is important to select the projects where the app should be active. This is because the app will process all PDFs and images in the selected projects. If a new project requires OCR in the future, you can update the app settings in the Organization Settings in Crowdin.

Access and Configuration

After installation, the app will be accessible in the "File Processors" section of the selected projects settings. Before using the app, it must be configured with the credentials from ABBYY Cloud. Additionally, you might want to set preferences, such as the source language of the documents, preferred document format in Crowdin, and other.

Handling Multiple Documents

If you have multiple documents that will require different settings, the app must be configured before each upload. This ensures that each document is processed according to its specific requirements.
