AI Automator is an experimental app that acts as a user in your Crowdin project, designed to handle repetitive tasks for you by executing the automation code. You can write instructions for the agent using plain language, describing how it should handle a given task. The AI will then generate the automation code for you.

Please be aware that this application is still an experiment!

Manager Permissions: To operate, the agent requires manager-level permissions.

Automation Management: In Crowdin Enterprise, admins can view all automations across projects via a module in the organization menu. In Crowdin, owners can see all automations in their projects through the profile module.

Setting up the AI Automator

1. Install the App:

Choose the projects where the agent will be available. The agent will then appear in the Tools section of the project and in the profile (Crowdin) or organization (Crowdin Enterprise) sections of the left-hand menu.

1. Add the AI Automator agent to the projects where it will operate.

Use Case

AI Automator is ideal for projects where managers need to handle repetitive tasks. For example, creating translation tasks after uploading new files. Here’s how to create an automation in this case:

1. Open the agent window through the Tools section.
2. Click Create Automation.

1. In the automation creation window, select the event the agent should respond to (e.g., "File added").
2. Provide clear and concise instructions for the agent. The AI will generate the necessary code based on your input.

Important: Instructions should be brief and clear for optimal results.

Example:

Bad: "Create a task for Peter." Good: "Create a task of type Translate to Spanish. Assign the task to the user with the username 'Peter.' Include the file name in the task title."

1. Click Generate Code and wait for the AI to generate the automation code based on your instructions.
2. Review the generated code. If it meets your requirements, name the automation (or let the AI generate a name), and save it.
3. Upload a file in the Files tab, and within seconds, the agent will create the tasks automatically.

You can track the agent's actions through logs, which can be downloaded via the clock icon. Logs contain all agent activities for the last 30 days and can be downloaded for all automations or individual ones.

Limits

The AI Automator has the following limits:

Enterprise:

• 50 automations per organization.
• 1000 automation runs per organization per day.

Crowdin:

• 10 automations across all owner projects.
• 100 automation runs per day.

General Limit: Automations cannot make more than 50 HTTP requests.
Users can check their limit and usage by hovering over the speedometer icon in the table header.
