About AI Manager

NOTE: This application is not intended to be used for production tasks. It's more of an experiment to see if AI can be used for project management tasks.

Wouldn't it be cool if an AI could live in your Crowdin project and help you with all sorts of tasks? Not the pre-defined features, but the truly general purpose assistant that can perform all kinds of tasks, whether it's searching for information, modifying data, or performing actions on your behalf? This experiment is to find out.

How it works

When you open the application for the first time, you need to select a data scope on which to perform the query. Currently supported scopes are:

• Source text
• Translations into the selected language
• Source plus translations into the selected language
• Project tasks
• Project users
• Terminology extraction

Once the scope is selected, you have full control to create a prompt. In this experiment, the application can perform a limited number of actions on your behalf:

• Delete translation
• Approve translation
• Add a label to a string
• Remove label from string
• Add term to glossary
• Edit string text and other properties (key, context, text, translation max.length, visibility status)

More actions and data sources coming soon. For your content data sources, such as source text or translations, you will need to limit the scope to a single file.

With the available data sources and actions, you can perform some tasks such as

• Approve translations that do not contain vandalism (can be useful for crowdsourcing projects).
• Extract terminology and populate your glossary. The AI can try to populate many properties of a glossary term.
• Find and hide untranslatable strings in your project
