This app integrates Azure Translator's Transliteration API into Crowdin, allowing you to transliterate (not translate) text within your projects. It is useful for multilingual companies that need to convert text such as usernames, city names or street names into different scripts to ensure consistent display across languages.

After installing the application, you can configure it by adding your Azure credentials to the new menu item in your organisation settings. Once configured, you can create a custom MT engine with transliteration capabilities. The app supports both suggestions in the editor and pre-translation tasks in workflows.

Please note that Azure supports a limited number of transliteration script pairs. You should consult the Azure documentation to check whether the language scripts you require are supported.
