Transcreation can be described as a process of adapting a content from one language to another while preserving the original purpose, tone and style. Transcreation is similar to the traditional translation process, but it gives more fluency to the translator delivering the message in a way that sounds natural to the target audience. Instead of translating the text, a translator working on a transcreation project is tasked with creating a new text in the target language that conveys the same message as the original.
In Crowdin, transcreation follows a process that is similar to the standard workflow. The client will still upload files for translation and receive the translations in the target language. However, in a transcreation project, there are a few key differences:

To begin, click the 'Install' button above. During the installation process, you may want to limit the app to only being installed in projects where you plan to have transcreation tasks.
Once the app is installed, both you and your translators will be able to access it from the right panel of the translation editor.
It's important to communicate with your translators that they have the freedom to create new text in the target language in order to deliver your message in a way that feels natural to your audience. Translators should also provide back translations for each suggestion they make.
You can review and approve the final back translations either as the translators are working on the transcreation, or after they have completed it.
Crowdin is a platform that helps you manage and translate content into different languages. Integrate Crowdin with your repo, CMS, or other systems. Source content is always up to date for your translators, and translated content is returned automatically.
