TM Alignment in Crowdin

Translation alignment is a process that can be used to upload existing translations of non-key-value documents to Crowdin, or to create a Translation Memory from previously translated documents. Our Document Aligner app makes this process simple and efficient.

Document Aligner takes both the source and translated documents and returns a draft Translation Memory in the XLSX format, which can be edited and used in Crowdin or any other translation tool. This can be a convenient way to make use of previously translated content and improve the efficiency and accuracy of your translations.

Note that Document Aligner creates a temporary Crowdin project during the alignment process. This allows the app to extract and organize the translatable text from the source and translated documents, making it easy to create a Translation Memory draft.
