Google Ads translation with Crowdin

Crowdin is an essential tool for businesses looking to expand. Running localized ads through Google Ads is another great way for businesses to reach global markets. With the integration of Crowdin and Google Ads, businesses can streamline their translation and localization workflows, making it easier to create and launch localized campaigns.

This integration is implemented as a custom file format. You would need to export your campaigns as a CSV, then translate with Crowdin and upload the translated CSV back through Google Ads.

Before uploading your files to the Crowdin project, be sure to check the Project -> Tools section to configure the application before use. Different campaigns may have slightly different CSV file configuration, the application should be aware of the CSV format it needs to handle.

Google Ads texts have a maximum length restriction. The application has a default configuration for the most commonly used text types, and you can also configure the maximum length per text type.

Note: This application expects files with .csv extension and at least one occurrence of Headline 1...15 to start processing the file. This is done to prevent this application from processing all CSV files that may not contain ads, but this also brings risks that non-ad CSV files may meet this condition. That's why we recommend you to select projects where you will translate ads when installing the application.
