The Maximum Characters Check ensures that your translated text does not exceed a defined maximum character count.
Note: While Crowdin has a native max.length feature, it requires setting a maximum length for every segment. This QA check allows you to enforce a maximum length for the entire project, making it more convenient to manage character limits (can be useful for subtitle translation projects).
The QA check should be configured before use. The configuration is done directly in the code by setting the maxChars
variable to the desired maximum character count.
