There are several reasons why resource files can be challenging to translate without modification. This is particularly true for custom resource file formats that do not adhere to standards or have unique customizations that need to be preserved or presented in a specific way on Crowdin.

Similarly, translated files may require modification before they can be utilized.

This application addresses these and other issues by allowing you to create processing rules for source files when uploading them to Crowdin and for translated files before they are returned by Crowdin.

The app can modify file contents or file names using regular expressions to specify the changes. Multiple rules can be executed in their specified order.
