Bandwidth IVR localization with Crowdin

Try Crowdin

Bandwidth IVR uses BXML files to describe contact flows. Crowdin can translate BXML without any additional apps. BXML would need configuration to get the best translation experience though.

First, upload your BXML file into Crowdin. Remember that your files should have a .xml file extension.

Right after upload, you will see the Configure button right to the newly uploaded file name. Click the button, then click Advanced Configuration in the dialog that will appear. In this dialog, you should select XML nodes and properties that Crowdin should allow translators to work with. Select the checkbox right to SpeakSentence and locale as shown on a screenshot below. Click Import when done.

Importing BXML into Crowdin

Your file will be imported to Crowdin after configuration. See the next screenshot of how the file will appear to translators.

BXML in Crowdin Editor

It is recommended to use Crowdin API, CLI, or GitHub integration to automate your BXML files upload and configuration. With the automation you will always have the latest version of your files in Crowdin as well as translations will be delivered to the place where they should live.

Crowdin is a platform that helps you manage and translate content into different languages. Integrate Crowdin with your repo, CMS, or other systems. Source content is always up to date for your translators, and translated content is returned automatically.
