Directus Translation Strings localization with Crowdin

Please import your existing translations if any. The app will only sycnrhronize your source texts and translations from Crowdin back to Directus.

Directus is an open-source data platform that instantly gives any new or existing SQL database an API (REST+GraphQL) and a no-code data collaboration app.

Setting up the Directus Translation Strings connector

After installing the application, you will find it in your project Integrations section.

Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your Directus Translation Strings account.

Manual synchronization

To import content for translation from Directus Translation Strings, follow these steps:

1. Open the Directus Translation Strings integration.
2. In the Directus Translation Strings section (right panel), select the files that should be translated.
3. Click Sync.

To export translations to Directus Translation Strings, follow these steps:

1. Open the Directus Translation Strings integration.
2. In the left section, select the files that will be synced to Directus Translation Strings.
3. Click Sync to Directus Translation Strings.

Auto content synchronization

To automatically import content for translation from Directus Translation Strings choose files and click Scheduled sync in the right panel in the Directus Translation Strings integration. The file you chose will be pushed once at a scheduled time (by default, it is done once a day). The same button is used to export translated files from Crowdin to Directus Translation Strings (in the left panel). You may disable this by clicking Disable Sync.
