Unapprove or delete translations for strings changed in Switch Source workflow step
The functionality of Switch Source Language in Crowdin Enterprise is impressive. If your project's source language is challenging to translate into various languages, it may be simpler to first translate into English, and subsequently into other languages. This is the precise role of Switch Source Language.
Nonetheless, maintaining existing translations can become complex when utilizing this workflow step. Changes to your source texts may render previous translations from the transitional language to the target languages out of date.
Given the potential delay in human response, particularly in continuous deployment scenarios, it seems most effective to either remove or at least refrain from approving translations from the transitional to target languages.
This is the issue that this application resolves. When new translations are added or existing ones updated in the transitional language, the application has the capability to either unapprove or delete the corresponding translations in the target languages.
Note: This application relies on Crowdin webhooks to unapprove or delete obsolete translations. There may be a delay in Crowdin webhooks, usually not more than a minute, but occasionally it could extend up to 10-15 minutes. Therefore, changes made to translations in the transitional language won't be immediately apparent in your target languages.
Crowdin is a platform that helps you manage and translate content into different languages. Integrate Crowdin with your repo, CMS, or other systems. Source content is always up to date for your translators, and translated content is returned automatically.
