It improves translation quality by integrating user-provided Translation Memories, Glossaries, and reference files into the AI prompt, thereby grounding the AI's output in proprietary data.

Getting Started

1. Install App from Crowdin Store

Find Vector Cloud in the Crowdin Store and install it to your organization.

2. Configure Embedding Providers

Connect your preferred embedding providers securely (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.).

3. Select Crowdin Content

Easily sync your existing Translation Memories (TMs) and Glossaries from your Crowdin account to the Vector Database.

4. Enhance AI Prompts

Activate the "Extend prompts by vector database" feature in your settings to ensure AI suggestions are always informed by your custom data.

5. Upload Custom Documents

Upload any other reference files you need—like style guides, product specifications, or legal documents. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, CSV, and more.

When the AI translates, it first searches your uploaded data for the most relevant context. It uses this information to deliver translations that are accurate, consistent, and specific to your brand and project.
