How to localize Framer via Crowdin using XLIFF files

To translate this template with 100% precision, we recommend using the Locale Sync plugin and Crowdin. This method protects your design and code tags while you edit the text.

Step 1: Export

1. In Framer, click the globe Icon in the top toolbar to open Localization (if it's your first time, click Add Locale and choose your language).
2. Open the Plugins menu and launch Locale Sync.
3. Go to the Export tab, select XLIFF as the format, and download the file.

Step 2: Translate

1. Upload your .xlf file to Crowdin.
2. Translate your content using Crowdin’s editor. It will automatically protect Framer-specific tags and variables so you don't accidentally break the design.
3. Once finished, Download the translated XLIFF file from Crowdin.

Step 3: Import

1. Go back to the Locale Sync plugin in Framer and select the Import tab.
