Full translation automation with BeLazy-Crowdin

This connector is particularly useful for companies that use Crowdin to localize products like mobile, web apps, websites, and games in an agile way, with many small tasks, and work or want to work with translation companies.

It is mainly used by the language service vendor and eliminates a large amount of the overhead that comes from managing small updates. Used in combination with the right processes, it can enable the fully automated management of Crowdin tasks, directly reassigning your task to the correct, available, and tested linguists.

The integration allows you to manage the translation and proofreading tasks in both systems and enables your language service providers to list, reassign, and close tasks in Crowdin directly from their preferred business management system, eliminating a large amount of the overhead that comes from managing small updates.

Requirements for the BeLazy-Crowdin connector

In order to use the system, you need a Crowdin API key with at least the Project scope fully selected. The setup of the connector happens entirely in BeLazy and the business management system such as Plunet, XTRF or Protemos.

Setting up the BeLazy connector

To set up this connection, all you need to do is set up the API user in Crowdin and copy the token to BeLazy. All project members (translator, proofreader, manager) can see all tasks and can work on tasks even if they are not assigned to them.

What functionality is supported?

The integration supports all task-based workflows and the extraction and updating of bilingual files.

Vendor assignment functionality

The integration also supports vendor assignment (assigning translators/proofreaders to tasks). In the regular edition (Crowdin.com) you must manually add to the project everyone you may want to assign to the tasks.

What functionality is not supported?

Prices are calculated by your business management system. Vendor creation functionality from the business management system is not available, because you can only invite members to register, and you cannot assign them to tasks up to the point they register.
