Builder.io localization with Crowdin

Easily translate your Builder.io content by setting up the integration once, defining your localization workflow, and spending less time managing translations.

Builder.io is a headless content management system (CMS) that allows users to create and manage digital content for websites and applications. With Builder.io, users can create rich, dynamic web pages and app experiences using a drag-and-drop interface, without the need for coding or technical expertise.

Quick Demo

When you click on 'Install' in the upper-right corner, you will be directed to the Quick Start Wizard, which will guide you in quickly creating your first Crowdin project and placing translation orders.

If you already have a Crowdin account, you can locate and install this connector in the 'Store' section of your account.

Setting up the Builder.io connector

After installing the application, you will find it in your project Integrations section.

Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your Builder.io account.

Manual synchronization

To import content for translation from Builder.io, follow these steps:

1. Open the Builder.io integration.
2. In the Builder.io section (right panel), select the files that should be translated.
3. Click Sync.

To export translations to Builder.io, follow these steps:

1. Open the Builder.io integration.
2. In the left section, select the files that will be synced to Builder.io.
3. Click Sync to Builder.io.

Auto content synchronization

To automatically import content for translation from Builder.io choose files and click Scheduled sync in the right panel in the Builder.io integration. The file you chose will be pushed once at a scheduled time (by default, it is done once a day). The same button is used to export translated files from Crowdin to Builder.io (in the left panel). You may disable this by clicking Disable Sync.
