Many of the text-based file formats supported by Crowdin require your files to be encoded in UTF-8, UTF-16, or ASCII. However, it is possible that your files may have been encoded in various other formats. Unfortunately, automatic detection may not always be reliable in such cases. This is where our application proves to be invaluable.

With our application, you have the ability to manually select the encoding of your source files. The app will seamlessly convert the encoding to UTF-8 during the import process to ensure compatibility with Crowdin. Similarly, when exporting the files, it will convert them back to the required encoding.

Furthermore, our application provides additional useful features. You can choose to preserve the Byte Order Mark (BOM) for encodings that utilize it. Additionally, you have the option to filter files based on their names or extensions, allowing you to work only with the files that are relevant to your current task.
